Livio Fenati
Managing Partner, Founder

Livio is a Managing Partner and a founding member of Vesper Infrastructure Partners.

Livio was most recently Co-Head of the Direct Private Infrastructure business unit for Partners Group Europe and was a member of the global Private Infrastructure Investment Committee, a member of the valuation committee and a member of the Board of Directors of the Partners Group’s portfolio companies Parmaco, Telepass and Eolo.

He has 28 years of infrastructure industry experience. Prior to joining Partners Group, he was Global Head of M&A at Atlantia and previously he was one of the founders of Arcus Infrastructure Partners, an independent fund manager based in London, managing a EUR2.2bn fund.

During his 3 years at Atlantia Livio led the successful acquisition of several flagship assets for a total estimated value in excess of €40bn, like the purchase of the Nice Airport, the majority stake in Eurotunnel and the acquisition of control of Abertis (a €34bn transaction, which remains so far the largest transaction ever done in the infrastructure space).

During his last 2 years in Partners Group, as European co-Head of the direct Infrastructure business, Livio has invested over EUR 2.5bn equity capital, by originating and executing leading Infra – PE cross over investments, like the acquisition of Telepass (the largest and most profitable pan-European E- Tolling and mobility payment provider) and Parmaco (a platform of over 350 modular educational buildings leased to AA+ rated Finnish and Swedish municipalities to host over 35,000 children).

He holds a degree in economics from the University of Rome, Italy and a certificate in the Investment Strategies and Portfolio Management program from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania, USA.

Alfredo Maria De Falco
Chairman & Partner, Founder

Alfredo is a Partner and a founding member of Vesper Infrastructure Partners.

Alfredo was most recently Head of Client Solutions at UniCredit S.p.A. and Deputy CEO of the Corporate Investment Banking Division. He was responsible for all product factories across all client segments, and for the coverage of key Corporate clients, Financial Institutions, Institutional Investors and Financial Sponsors. He was leading the International Network, overseeing UniCredit Business across different geographies in Europe, Americas, Asia and Middle East.

In this capacity he has been member of Global Transactions Credit Committee and Chairman of the Principal Investment Committee.

In his Vice-Chairman role at UniCredit International Bank SA Luxemburg, he oversaw the wealth management function with ca. EUR 3bn AUM. Previously he was the CEO of UniCredit Americas based in New York.

Alfredo has over 26 years of experience in Corporate & Investment Banking, having successfully managed diverse businesses and geographies, leading over 1,000 people at international level. He has acted as advisor and underwriter on more than EUR 200bn deals in the Infrastructure and Energy space: from the Alliance Boots $22bn KKR takeover to the more recent Blackstone/ Edizione’s take private of Atlantia (largest ever European ‘take private’ deal), the €7.1bn Project Financings for Open Fiber (largest ever European telecommunications networks’ financing), the €2,4bn sale of Italo to GIP, and many others in the mid-market space like the recent acquisition of Rimorchiatori Mediterranei by MSC building the world leader in the towage business.

He was a member of the Board of Directors at Camfin (Pirelli Group Holding), Istituto Europeo di Oncologia, and Advisory Board Member of Clessidra Capital Partners.

He holds a Doctorate in Economics from the University of Rome (jointly with Verona and IUN), and Executive Program Certificates from Columbia University Insead and IMD. He is adjunct professor at Bocconi University, Milan and has been visiting professor at Fordham University, Gabelli Business School, New York.

Paola Rastelli
Partner, Founder

Paola is a Partner and a founding member of Vesper Infrastructure Partners.

Paola was most recently Managing Director and Head of M&A at SNAM and has 20 years of infrastructure industry experience.

Whilst at SNAM she was a member of the Board of Directors at: Industrie De Nora; SNAM 4 Environment and at a firm’s portfolio company Iniziative Biometano; an Advisory Board Member and Expert Committee Member of Hy24 – FiveT and Ardian hydrogen fund; and an Advisory Board Member of CDP Venture Capital Energy Tech fund.

Prior to joining SNAM, she worked at PSP as Director of PSP European Infrastructure Team in London with responsibility for pan-European origination, with a specific focus on energy and utilities. At that time she was a member of the Board of Directors at Alpha Trains, an Investment Committee Member and Advisory Member of F2i Fund 3.

Before PSP, Paola was one of the initial members of Arcus Infrastructure Partners.

Paola holds a degree in economics from the University of Parma, Italy and a Master degree in marketing and logistic, Italy.

Olaf Nordmeyer
Partner, Co-Founder

Olaf is a Partner and a founding member of Vesper Infrastructure Partners.

Olaf was Managing Director at Goldman Sachs where he was the Global Co-head of Infrastructure.

He has over 21 years of experience in the infrastructure space with a specific focus on energy, utilities and transportation.

Olaf has acted as advisor in over 50 transactions with a combined enterprise value of about USD150bn.

He has most recently been involved in several relevant value add infrastructure exits and acquisitions like: WSIP’s take-private of Adapteo, the IPO of Salik, Blackrock’s and WSIP’s take-private of Calisen, KKR’s and OTPP’s acquisition of a control stake in Caruna, the acquisition and sale of Elenia.

Olaf holds a Diplome de Grande Ecole de Gestion and a Diplomkaufmann from ESCP-EAP.

Giacomo Rossi
Partner, Co-Founder

Giacomo is a Partner and a founding member of Vesper Infrastructure Partners.

He has almost 20 years’ experience in the energy, infrastructure and industrials markets.

Prior to Snam, Giacomo was responsible for strategic investment opportunities for BP’s EMEA low carbon power and gas trading team (batteries, renewables, geothermal, low carbon power generation); and prior to BP, worked at Carlyle’s flagship international energy platform, Carlyle International Energy Partners, and was responsible for managing c.40% of the $2.5bn fund. Before Carlyle, Giacomo spent seven years in energy and industrial teams at Rothschild & Co and Perella Weinberg Partners.

Giacomo holds a BSc Hons in Philosophy and Economics from the London School of Economics.

Guillermo Royo-Villanova
Partner, Co-Founder

Guillermo is a Partner and a founding member of Vesper Infrastructure Partners.

Guillermo was most recently Vice President at PSP Investments, in the Private Equity Infrastructure team and has over 8 years of experience in the infrastructure space, having worked in various transportation, energy and telecommunications transactions globally both as a principal investor and investment banker.

In addition to deal execution, Guillermo was responsible for the asset management of Roadis (a global toll road platform) and Cubico Sustainable Investments (a global renewable platform), where he actively attended the board of both companies.

Guillermo also held responsibility in the coverage of origination efforts of the Spanish market.

Guillermo holds a Bachelor degree in Business Management from the University of St Andrews, as well as a Master of Science in Finance from University College London (UCL).
